The reason it has the name midnight is because it is the only possible way that I can describe the color correctly.  It is not black, but matte.  But it also has a hue of charcoal.   It is very unique.

The purse has straps on it that run from the front of the bag to the back of the bag. You can tighten straps on the backside of the bag so that it is cinched and gathered, giving it a unique look. Or you can leave them loose and hanging, the choice is up to you.
